Questions about Webtjek
Do I need a cookie banner if I use Webtjek?
Webtjek sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses. With Webtjek's own consent banner, visitors are counted anonymously – with nothing stored in the browser – until they agree to statistics. If you use another cookie banner, load Webtjek under statistics, because the script otherwise stores a random visitor ID in the browser.
Where is my data stored?
Measurement data is stored on our own server in Denmark and is not shared with anyone. We use no US subprocessors for measurement data.
Can I switch from Google Analytics?
Yes. You can run both side by side for a while and compare the numbers before you switch off Google Analytics.
Does it work with my platform?
Yes – anything that can load a script: HTML, WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, React/Next.js, Vue/Nuxt and more. Uptime and SSL work without any script.
What happens when the trial ends?
We remind you three days before. Nothing is charged automatically: when the 14 days are over, we pause the account until you choose to continue. Your data and settings are kept.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. There is no lock-in – you pay month by month (or year by year if you choose yearly billing).
